Thanks to Marla for this distraction.
These are the Top 100 Songs of 1985, the year of graduated high school in lovely Palestine, TX. (I was so excited to get a walkman knockoff in high school.) I'm admittedly a pop music snob, i.e., I don't like much of it.
I marked them a bit differently than Marla.
If it's in bold, I liked it. If it's unmarked, I'll listen to it, but won't seek it out. If it's struckthrough, I'll change the station.
Are you ready? (I'll post the college grad year later.)

It's in 2 weeks. We're going, but I'm not sure which events we'll go to. The football game and familiy picnic for sure, but up in the air about the $25/head dance. I do like to dance when we can, though I'm pretty picky about the music. (I'll have to take the dj a play list.)
I'm like you...big on lyrics. Imagine that. :)

I liked all the songs you picked, though I liked some of the ones you didn't pick, too. My husband graduated the same year as you--we just attended his 20 year reunion Saturday night. That was quite an experience for both of us. Did you go to yours?
