One of my favorite things is getting toilet paper delivered to my door. Really. So, what's up with Toilet Paper Day?
About 6 months ago I took the plunge and signed up for tp delivery via Amazon Subscribe & Save, which offers discounts and free shipping on items you subscribe to.
I had thought about it, but wasn't sure if it would be a good deal. Amazingly, I didn't make a spreadsheet comparing the per sheet cost of different roll sizes at different stores. I went with the biggest roll I could find.
The cost each month varies a bit, ranging from $15.29 - $20.96 for my last 7 deliveries. (I think the $15.29 had a first order discount or something.)
This month it was $19.61 for three 6 packs of Charmin Ultra Strong Mega Rolls (352 2-Ply Sheets per Roll). That's only $1.08 per big ol' roll of poke-through-resistant, it's-not-sandpaper tp. (The price listed by the picture is not the Subscribe & Save price.)
Now, running out of toilet paper only means it didn't make it from the cabinet to the holder.
P.S.
I'm an Amazon affiliate, so if you click through the link or picture above and buy something, some of the proceeds go to support a worthy cause...me. You can also look in my Amazon Affiliate Store for other recommendations.
Also, I have a support ticket in to Typepad and Amazon asking for HTML to get the text away from the graphic. I've messed with it, but had to drop back and punt. We'll see which company answers first. (Typepad support is one of the reasons I stay with them, though I've dabbled with other blog providers.) Support update: Typepad help came through a few days later with the answer. No word from Amazon yet.

Yep, Rhonda. They are big ol' rolls. We were down to our last 3 rolls in February (stomach bug)and I though I was going to have to request to ship it early, but it had just shipped that day. Love it!

That's funny, Art. Diaper and paper towel are done the same way around here. Fun and functional.

I wish they had this when I was in High School. I could have TP'd a LOT more houses if I could have just had it delivered to my doorstep. Big time saver there.
I assume you are doing the diapers the same way?
