The Old Schoolhouse Magazine, Summer 2005: Final Review
My initial
enthusiasm for TOS Magazine
was sustained after spending a couple of months with the Summer 2005 issue. The
content was practical, inspirational, and engaging.
One unique thing about TOS is that it’s more than a magazine. Through their site, Homeschoolblogger.com, you can “rub shoulders” with the staff of the magazine in the blogosphere. (My kids and I all have a free blog on homeschoolblogger.com.)
When I recognize people in the magazine from the blogs, it
adds to a sense of connection with them, making the magazine experience that
much richer. I've also enjoyed making some new blogging friends, like Amy Beth.
I absolutely recommend The Old Schoolhouse Magazine.
Compared to the other home school magazine I subscribe to, TOS is my hands down
favorite. They currently have some great promo
offers going that would be great for Christmas. Buy a 2 year subscription
for yourself and get a 1 year subscription for a friend at no additional
charge.
Disclaimer: I received this subsciption as a gift from the
publisher, via Mind & Media for
distribution to reviewers with blogs.

Hey Lexie,
Just checkin' in to see how you are doing. I've missed seeing you around. Hope your family is well.

Thanks, Amy. You are one of my "blog friends" I often refer to in off line conversation. Thanks for being an inspiration via your blog and amazing pictures.

Great review. It is my favorite magazine, too. I'm also reading the backissues, which are available on the website. Excellent articles!
You are a doll, and I feel honored to call you my friend!
Have a great week!
Love,
