CenTex Chapter of Christian Fiction Writers
The third Saturday of the month they have meetings. They also host one day seminars. Take a look at the Upcoming Meetings page. Thought geared towards fiction writers (which I'm not), some of their meetings are helpful to all writers.

Writer's League of Texas, Third Thursday Program
Free, open to the public and full of information. 7pm, Book People, 603 N. Lamar Blvd in Austin
